Biggest trouble with beer from Mexico to Panama is that it’s almost uniformly light. Corona, Modelo, Victoria. Balboa kinda tastes like Olde English to me, but they have an “ice” version that’s cleaner and crisper. Occasionally there’s a brew pub or microbrewery, but it’s often lighter beers, and I like heavier maltier beers. They’re hard to drink in the heat though.

I figured that would be the case - every time I’m traveling to a hot place I’m looking for their token dark beer!

Tasting like Olde English is… um, a good warning. 😆
