Life is for living - ... and you (plural) are looking like you are doing a good job at it. ...It's seemingly amazing (in the beginning) how many things can go sideways - but there are generally a handful of tasks that once mastered and rehearsed will cover all but the 'Acts of God' which we are all / always subject to. ... like a dance or a musical piece - practice practice practice. ... eventually we successfully make all the possible mistakes and can move on from there (!!) .... and in the (mean) meantime it looks like the rewards are sufficient to keep you engaged - Peter's smile says it all. You (pl) look great. Carry on.
Thank you Michael for your wisdom and continued encouragement. I agree that we are in an adjustment period for a while. I feel more confident each day…
What a thrilling adventure! I felt like I was on a roller coaster. You’re very good at bringing it to life. Thank you for sharing all this. Wish we were meeting you in Cabo. Safe travels!
Hi Pinkie! So great to hear from you!! It’s been one hell of a ride! I’m glad u feel the experience and the ups and downs —ha ha like the ocean itself! You and Jeff and/or son, Gio, are so welcome to join us any where u want! Just let us know!! Take care!
Thinking about you two! The images and stories are excellent! Loved the San Diego segment...brought back memories. Thank you so much for sharing. Love you both. Please stay safe and enjoy BAJA CA!!!! Jack & Karen
Finally catching up on your posts after getting home from our own travels. Yours is not a trip, like ours, but a lifestyle. Your posts are great. I love getting the inside scoop on what life on a boat is like. Really loving the photos too, especially your cute selfies and the sun, moon and other light reflections on the water. Really relaxing. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Looking forward to more. Love you!
Peter and Donna, I love your weekly logs and photos. I really like the profile shot of her at anchor in San Diego. Safe passage to Mexico and fun times! Gerard.
Hi Peter and Donna. Glad to hear from you. All is well here with the crew. Scotty has been away on travels, due back in a few days, I think. Otherwise, things seem normal to me…ha. Bruno is buzzing around in his newly bottom cleaned and painted dinghy trying to kill fish, Michael fits driving lessons with “daughter” into his daily travels, Tim and Aqua are regular on the docks and she is “talking” and gets cuter every day, straining to look under her sun hood to see who is next in line to coo at her. Jimmy does his best to wreck the shop and still breaks out in Pee Wee Herman style song bits…ha.
Today, for the first time in a while, we are covered with a dense fog right down to the Marina. We have had good rain and then almost a whole week of sunny days.
Hi Alan! Thanks for the update on everyone there at Brisbane. Miss you all. Please send our regards to everyone. I really enjoyed reading your reply! Stay dry!!
Donna and Peter - I love reading how you are living your dreams, although I must admit being scared on your behalf when it comes to avoiding very large tankers. Thanks for taking us all along and know we're all rooting for you.
Thank you for virtually taking me along on your journey! I am enjoying the moments big and small, the missed anchorages, the golden sunsets, the intimidating container ships. I am learning so much about the sea from the comfort of my couch! Ya-ya for the Ba-Ha-Ha!!
Peter, really enjoyed reading about all the things you encounter, cargo ships, birds, weather misbehaving anchors. Can’t sleep and it was nice to see you and Donna and your pretty boat. What a trip! Love, Marie
Yew!!!!!!!!
